The newly reorganized Machinery and Spare Parts Company (Machinoimport) inherites the 47-years experiences of the former Machinoimport, which was founded in 1956 as one of the first trading houses in Vietnam and the first ever specialized in machinery and equipment. It successfully underwent the establishment and development stages during the war time, and the current ”Doimoi” period.

Machineries, equipment and spare parts have always been the core commodities of Machinoimport. Over the years, the range of commodities has successively been enlarged and diversified.

Machinoimport deals with import, export and sales agent of various kinds of goods such as complete equipment, materials, spare parts, fuel, consumer goods and so on; performs maintenance & repairation services, assembly, and production of automobile, machineries and spare parts; and finally handles international labour coorporation and the other services neccessary for the country’s industrialization and modernization.

Machinoimport has nine dependent affiliations. Most of them reside in highly-growing economic regions such as Hanoi, Haiphong, Danang and HoChiMinh City, where the infrastructure is in rather good better conditions. Machinoimport and its Japanese partners found a Joint-venture in Dong Anh, Hanoi to produce automobile spare parts. So far Machinoimport has proved to be one of the leading trading companies in Vietnam.
